Event Overview

The National Homeland Defense Foundation conducts the nation's leading national forum for dialogue on homeland defense and homeland security. The annual Symposium fosters the exchange of ideas and technologies among government, industry and the military. Only through such an open and broad-based dialogue and exchange of ideas and technology can America fully understand the nature of external threats, and the many efforts underway designed to prepare for and defeat them.

We are launching the inaugural HS/HD Career Summit to be held alongside the National HD/HS Symposium VI to capitalize on the tremendous wealth of opportunities for professional development, networking and career planning.

The summit is a collaborative effort between the National Homeland Defense Foundation , the Center for Homeland Security at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs , and Homeland Security Careers®. The inaugural Homeland Security/Homeland Defense Career Summit will be held in conjunction with the National Homeland Defense Foundation Symposium VI in beautiful Colorado Springs October 28-29, 2008 at the Broadmoor Hotel.
